For those of you who are writing your personal story, or have ever thought about it, here’s a unique opportunity.

If you want encouragement in journaling or writing your personal experiences, please join me tomorrow (Tuesday, June 9) at 10 a.m. PST for a workshop hosted by Susy Flory of Everything Memoir.

The class will be led by Marci Seither who has sold more than two dozen stories to Guideposts. In the 45-minute session, she shows us how to adapt a segment of our life story or memoir and turn it into an article suitable to submit to Guideposts Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul, or other publications.

This workshop also features me, sort of! In the session, Marci critiques one of my stories and brainstorms ways to make it more shareable. This was my first-ever time featured on a podcast, and my nerves did that little jangle dance at the beginning. But Marci and Susy made it great fun.
